Lyn Balzer and Tony Perkins have been working together as photographic collaborators for 12 years. Their work features the naked female form juxtaposed against harsh and beautiful Australian landscapes.
There is something very haunting, about these images. Each woman completely isolated and naked, suspended against elements which no one can survive for any extended period of time, particularly naked. However the images work, very well, to the point that each model looks almost part of the surrounding landscape, either in the mould of the rock formations, or as an animal scuttling into the scrub for cover.
